Privacy Notice.

Data

The privacy notice has been drafted . The intention is to use the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) policy developer but this is currently (May 2026) offline.

Louise Naylor Photography has created a privacy notice in line with the requirements of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Louise Naylor will be the identified Data Protection person who can be contacted via the website for any privacy concerns. Louise takes your personal information and online security seriously. Below contains our privacy policy. We are acting in line with GDPR laws within the UK. This policy will be updated when changes are made to said laws.

What Data Do We Use?

This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal information when you visit this website, including:

  • Information about your browser, network and device

  • Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website

  • Web pages you view while on this website

  • Your IP address

Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. You can read more about how Squarespace uses your data (site usage information of end users) for its own purposes in their Privacy Policy. The website uses analystics to monitor site traffic/visitors and behaviours, through squarespace using google analytics.

If someone visiting the site chooses to get in contact via email, their data will be utilised solely to respond to them and if they agree at the time, could be retained to a mailing list for use by Louise Naylor Photography only. The intention of this would be to email out registered site visitors updates or news of new images being developed etc. All site users can contact Louise directly online and formally request that their details are deleted from the system.

Your personal data will be stored online, in a secure cloud with the appropriate security settings. If you have agreed to subscribe to regular updates or a mailing list your details will be retained for as long as the mailing list and updates are running, or until you instruct us to remove you from our records. Once all mailing lists and updates cease any persons remaining on the records will be deleted in full. Louise Naylor Photography will not hold onto to any individuals data for any longer than is necessary.

The personal data being obtained would be via email:

  • Name - First and Surname, although surname is optional

  • Email address

  • Phone number - not essential

Once the users personal details have been used for example responding to an email from the user, their details will be deleted unless they consent to their email address and name being retained on record for any future contact. This would be a direct question asked of the user before deletion of the data. If no response is received directing Louise to retain their details within 2 weeks of the email being sent, their details will be deleted. Any user whose details have been deleted can always get back in contact if required.

If your details are retained on file, this will be on a cloud based system, with the respective security and protection.

Louise Naylor Photography will not lease, distribute or sell your personal details to a third party unless you have given express permission to do so or required to by law.

At any time site users can request what (if any) personal details we hold about them.
