This portfolio showcases a range of work created using a variety of photographic techniques and creative approaches, with a particular focus on Fine Art photography. Through the use of light, texture, movement, and composition, each image aims to go beyond traditional representation, capturing atmosphere, emotion, and narrative within a single frame.
Many of the images explore expressive and impressionistic styles, particularly through the use of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), allowing familiar scenes to be transformed into artistic interpretations that encourage reflection and imagination. Alongside these works are photographs inspired by the natural world, celebrating the beauty, detail, and quiet moments found in nature.

Introduction to Louise Naylor Photography
Based in Fife, Scotland, I am a photographer with a deep passion for visual storytelling and artistic imagery. Since retiring, photography has become an increasingly important and rewarding part of my life, inspiring me to explore the beauty, emotion, and character found within everyday moments.
I have a particular passion for Fine Art photography, especially using Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) as a creative photographic technique. Through movement, light, and texture, ICM allows me to create expressive, atmospheric, impressionistic, and often abstract imagery that reflects not only the scene before me, but also the emotion and feeling experienced in that moment.
Alongside Fine Art photography, I also have a deep appreciation for the natural world and wildlife, always seeking to capture the beauty, detail, and quiet moments that nature offers. Whether photographing sweeping landscapes, delicate flowers, or wildlife in its natural environment, my aim is to create images that encourage people to pause, reflect, and connect with the world around them.
All of my images are captured using my Canon EOS R5 Mark II mirrorless camera and carefully refined through post-processing, an intentional part of my creative workflow designed to enhance the final image while remaining true to my artistic vision.
Each image is professionally printed on archival-quality fine art paper, carefully selected to preserve both the richness of detail and the timeless character of the work.
